These aftereffects can be so overwhelming that a woman may have no idea what to do, or where to turn for help.

The symbolism of the willow tee represents a journey of struggle and pain, but with an adventure of hope and healing. One of the most valuable traits of the willow tree is its flexibility; capable of bending in outrageous poses without snapping by adjusting with life, rather than fighting it, surrendering through the process.

The willow tree reminds us to let go and surrender completely to God.

We also can look at how the willow tree encourages the expression of deep emotions, including grief and sadness through tears which teaches us the value and consequences of love and losses. One of the greatest symbolic meanings of the willow tree teaches us about our ability to grow, even during great loss; we always have the potential for renewal. We have the ability to abandon the pain and suffering and choose an exciting time of growth, to be strong and bold in our journey!

The image of the willow tree reminds us to follow the path of hope and healing toward a life of enriching growth and stability for today - and for our future.

For I know the plans I have for you… Plan for good, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
